The 1999 film release of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was inspired by the record-breaking London Palladium production in the early 1990s.

The film version of Joseph starred Donny Osmond in the title role, with Maria Friedman as the narrator, Richard Attenborough as Joseph’s father Jacob, Christopher Biggins as The Baker and Joan Collins as Mrs Potiphar.  for the full cast listing click here.

Directed by Dave Mallet, the film was shot on location at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, UK.
