I went to see it in Chesterfield yesterday and it was awesome! I have actually been in the production 5 times in the Joseph Choir but this was awesome

Just seen joseph in chesterfield saturday matinee, plenty of children in the audience and they along with the adults found the perfomance very enjoyable we had a great time.

I went to see the show last night, it was fantastic! Keith played a brilliant part and I nearly cried when he sang ‘close every door to me!’ Everybody looked like they were having great fun and really enjoyed being part of the production. A MUST SEE! Truley excellent!!

Saw the show at the Curve which was BRILLANT. Both my wife and seven year old daughter loved it. Still singing the songs and have now booked to see the show again in Nottingham,can’t wait.

Saw the show last night on Chesterfield’s opening night as won tickets in the local paper. It was brilliant. Well worth going to watch. I was in a school production in 1988, and although there has been a number of years since then, you do not forget the songs. There was one song we didn’t do in 1988 but it didn’t matter and didn’t ditract from the story.

After being blown away by Caroline O’ Connor’s fantastic performance in Gypsy merely a week ago, perhaps I was left with unreachable expectations from Keith Jack’s appearance as Joseph. Not only did his vacant facade leave me wondering if he’d stumbled upon the stage accidently, but his pitchy and uncontrolled vocals had me quite literally on the edge of my seat, eyeing up the closest exit. This would have been hard enough to stomach, but Keith achieved an even less tolerable performance by sacrificing his diction for catwalk style pouting and a toothy grin. It was clear that I was not the only bewildered patron when his walk down generated a sparse applause.

As far as I can see, this is just another fine example of reality television destroying yet another artistic industry. That said, the rest of the cast pulled off a tremendous expose of talent, but the show is called Joseph after all.

When I was about 4 I went to see joseph and now I’m actually in it. I’ll be in the choir.
practising is really fun!
I can’t wait until may. (that’s when I’m doing the show)
I’ll be doing it with Keith jack. The worst thing will be sitting on a hard wooden step for 2-3 hours. Its just so exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
