Sophia Hurdley - Zebulun's Wife/Apache Dancer

Training: Northern Ball et School. Sophia was a York scholar with Miss Louise Browne and an Adeline Genée semi-finalist.

Theatre includes: Mary in The Pajama Game directed by Simon Callow, understudy and performed Meg in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), Blue Fairy and Fox in Pinocchio directed by Will Tuckett (Royal Opera House), Kism et , The Mikado and The Merry Widow ( ENO ). Sophia has danced with Adonais Ball et Company and has been performing with Matthew Bourne’s company New Adventures for the past five years, playing Cupid and Marshmallow in The Nutcracker, The Girlfriend and Moth Maiden in the tenth anniversary of Swan Lake and creating the role of Bunny Monroe in Edward Scissorhands. Sophia choreographed and directed her own piece of dance drama this year at Resolutions called Callas which she hopes to develop in the near future with her company The Legacy Project.
