Tim Rice attends Lancing College performance

Earlier this month, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat lyricist Sir Tim Rice attended a very special gala performance of the show at Lancing College in West Sussex.

Sir Tim, who began work on Joseph with composer Andrew Lloyd Webber in 1967, is himself a former Lancing College pupil and was delighted to see students at his old school perform the show, which had its very first live performance on 1st March 1968 at another school - Colet Court at St Paul’s Junior School in London.

After the performance, Tim met Lancing College’s current staff and students and complimented them on their production.
